The Ugly Maneuver refers to two different maneuvers from roleplay, both of which are highly effective.
Non-Canon Ugly Maneuver Edit
In non-canon roleplay, the Ugly Maneuver refers to a last-resort attempt to save the lives of the crew. If confronted with insurmountable odds, the crew would simply hail the enemy and send them images of Admiral Ugly's face. Most of the time, the enemy would believe Admiral Ugly's face to be a biological weapon of some sort, and cease their attacks immediately, fearing utter annihilation.
On one occasion, the enemy found the admiral's face sufficiently ugly to simply give up on life, and they immediately began the self destruct sequence on their ship, "ending" themselves before Admiral Ugly could end them.
Canon Ugly Maneuver Edit
In canon roleplay, the Ugly Maneuver refers to a last-resort attempt to save the lives of the crew. If the weapon systems have been destroyed by the enemy, you simply use the warp core as a bomb, and eject it, hitting the enemy ship, and either destroying them or rendering them equally inoperable. This is difficult to accomplish, because the nature of warp core ejection causes the direction of the ejection to be completely unpredictable. Admiral Ugly, however, has attempted successfully on many occasions.
